A list of prices to review, ranked by the margin at stake.
Price optimization on your own numbers: NetPricer combines market position, your costs and your rules, works out the price and proposes it. The final call stays yours.
NetPricer price optimization
NetPricer works out the price, your team confirms it.
Where to start
The list opens with the products where the distance from the market costs you most: the ones where you are giving away margin, and the ones sitting well above everyone else.
The minimum margin holds
No recommendation goes below the minimum margin you set, not even when a competitor sells at a loss: in that case you see the gap and you decide.
Before and after, on the same product
The old price, the proposed one and the history sit on the same row, so after a change you compare the period before with the period after. If you would rather have prices move without confirmation, that module is dynamic pricing.
Frequently asked questions
How is the recommended price calculated?
From your cost, the margin floor you set, the rule you chose against the market (level with the cheapest, a fixed distance from a named competitor) and the prices read that morning. If the rule would break the floor, the floor wins and the product is flagged to you instead.
Does NetPricer change my prices on its own?
Not on this module. Here you get a list of prices to review, ranked by the margin at stake, and you confirm what you want. Automatic publishing is dynamic pricing, and it is switched on separately.
What if a recommendation is wrong for one product?
You can take a product, a brand or a whole category out of the rules and give it a rule of its own. Nothing forces the whole catalog to follow one single logic.
